Whew, it has been a busy weekend! Richard & I took my rehabbed furniture and décor items over to my booth at Woodstock Market on Thursday afternoon. Because it was an outside booth, we had to unload and stack under our canopy and cover with tarps until Friday morning.
My sister Lynn and friend Debbie were kind enough to help all weekend. Thank you so much- I couldn’t have done it without you!
If you follow on facebook, you’ve already seen some of these pictures, but I wanted to write up a recap of the weekend. Here I am with my sister while we’re still fresh and energetic on Friday. Drat, didn’t get a picture of Debbie.
This teal chest of drawers is heavy- we had to remove the drawers to be able to move it under the canopy every evening.
The dining table loaded with goodies:
Down filled chair I bought a while ago and simply washed the slipcovers, and painted and added a couple of fleurs de lis to the legs. Recognize the drawer message center?
I also made over 20 pillows, thought I would have time to take a few pics of them, but they all sold early the first day.
It was such an encouragement to have friends come by and show their support. I met some wonderful new friends as well. Rebecca, thank you for driving down to say hi and buy some velvety acorns. It was a pleasure to meet you! Tonia, I hope you enjoy your lamp and chair! For those who stopped by while I was grabbing lunch- phooey, I’m sorry I missed you- maybe next time?
It was an amazing weekend. I feel truly humbled by God’s grace and immense blessings. I’m exhausted, but in a good way.
