Here’s a quick and easy treat, Valentine Heart Brownies. Don’t have a heart-shaped pan? No problem.
Prepare your favorite brownie recipe or mix. Or you could make cupcakes, but brownies are so rich and chocolatey. I used regular muffin tins lined with… um, cupcake liners.
Fill the liners about halfway with brownie goodness, then plop a marble or two between the liner and the pan. This will form the top of your heart shaped brownie.
Bake as your recipe or box directs. After they cool, remove the liners and pinch the end of the brownie slightly to form the pointy end of the heart. Frost and decorate as desired.
To create a strawberry fan, just make several thin slices in the strawberry, making sure not to slice completely through to the leafy cap. Fan out carefully and place on your frosted brownie.
Enjoy a little Valentine treat for two.
What? The other ten brownies? ummmm….
