Ok, you know how we’ve all used cheese domes as cloches. Put something pretty under it and it works. Well, I’ve just found another way to make a super easy and cheap diy cloche. Can you guess what it is?
I didn’t even take pictures of the “process” because it’s so easy. This was the glass part of a wall mounted candle sconce. I just painted a wooden knob and glued it to the bottom (now the top) of the glass sconce-turned-dome. I have a couple more of these candle sconces with clear glass, but they didn’t have a flat spot to glue the knob, so I’ll have to rethink those.
I placed it on the teal chest of drawers and added a few things for a quick fall dresser vignette. A painted pumpkin (no decoupage pumpkins this time) sitting on a candle stick and some sparkly pears.
Quick, easy, cheap- my favorite kind of project!
