Whew! I’m still a little freaked out with myself. Renting a booth was, as I said last time, a leap of faith for me.
You’ll recognize most things from my blog, such as the woven drop cloth bulletin board, plus some things I haven’t gotten around to posting about yet. If you follow Plum Doodles facebook page, you got a sneak peek last night.
A few French pillows. I got the baskets at Kohl’s on sale, with a coupon plus one of the $10 gift cards they send out periodically.
The Paris print and the Eiffel Tower bulletin board. You can see a portion of the mirror that I’ll be posting about later this week. Do you see a glimpse of the trio of pretty blue jars I found a couple of weeks ago? I simply added jute twine around the neck of each one. They were another find that was hard to let go.
Since I had previously sold most of my furniture pieces, I was able to use this chest of drawers and chair from the shop for display until I can replenish my furniture stash.
I have a couple more tote bins of decor items that I need to price and get out to the store, and a couple of small tables to work on. I spent most of Monday scouring the area thrift stores for more furniture, but no luck. I think everyone has caught the thrifting bug.
So, that’s the start to my booth. Next time, I’ll show you around the rest of the shop.
Say a little prayer for me, ok?
