Hey, guys, are you ready for a big Thanksgiving dinner? Our son is coming home this year, so I’ll be cooking- amazing, I know. I’ll be taking the rest of the week off to spend time with family, so I wanted to leave you with this little music page joy banner.
I printed the letters onto pages torn from a music book, adding a coordinating border at the top. I left enough extra paper at top to fold over the jute rope.
In order to place them correctly, I strung the rope onto the framed metal scrolls, then paper clipped the letters into position.
Hot glue the folded flap over the rope, then play around with this and that to bling it up. I hot glued a sprig of dried lavender to a couple of small silver balls and hung them between the letters.
A purple ball at each end of the swag completes this simple Joy banner. The color of the lettering more closely matches the purple balls than these pictures show. Not sure why the color looks so off.
Joy is something we can choose any time, not just during holiday celebrations. I like décor that I can leave up until I get around to taking it down.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and I’ll see you back here next week with a big ol’ giveaway- see you Monday? ♥
