This post is in partnership with Perfect Linens. All opinions are my own.
What is it about springtime that makes us restless and ready for change? When we moved into our home last year, we got the furniture in place, but I only did minimal decorating in the guest rooms. Warm weather this week teased me into giving one of our guest rooms a spring update.
These Second Skin sheets from Perfect Linens immediately brightened up the space. I always buy all-cotton sheets, so when they offered these for review, I was thrilled. These are the softest I have ever owned. They feel like satin sheets, but without the annoying clinginess. I would rather not fight with the sheets in my sleep.
Perfect Linens launders the sheets 10 times, then uses objective tests and fabric analysis to evaluate the sheets. They only sell sheets, so they can concentrate on offering the best. You can select from certain categories of sheets depending on what you need for a comfortable night’s sleep: cool, warm, and even sensitive skin.
Oh, did you notice the peace lily? I have had it for almost a month now- can you believe it?! And it’s even blooming! There may be hope for me yet. The cute little bunny and crate both came from the dollar spot at Target.
You may remember these shutters framing the artwork in the living room in our last house. In order to coordinate with the bedding, I decided to paint them blue and then whitewash.
I hung one over the bed, but can’t decide whether to place the second one above it, or maybe add a row of white plates. What do you think?
I still need to make or buy curtains for the window, but I’m really liking the guest room spring update. And the way those sheets feel, I may just sneak in here for a night or two…..
Want to update your bedroom, too? Good news! Perfect Linens has offered all Plum Doodles readers a 15% discount with the code PlumDoodles15.
Hint: These sheets would make the perfect gift for those spring weddings.
The sheets were provided by Perfect Linens at no cost to me. I don’t review anything that I don’t love, so if you see it on Plum Doodles, you know it is my honest opinion.
What projects are you working on in celebration of spring?
