Hello, friends! How was your weekend? I had better luck at yard sales this week. If you follow on facebook, you saw a glimpse of a few of my treasures. None of those have been made over yet, so instead, I’m showing you one of my thrift store finds from a few weeks ago.
I found five of these boxes, already painted white. Yeah! A few people stopped me in the store before I got to the checkout and asked me what I was planning to do with them. At that point, I was feeling a little giddy that I got to them first.
They had a few scuffed areas, not a problem since I planned on distressing them anyway. The paint was glossy and sticky, so I sanded them and used Doodle Magic to transfer a different graphic to each one. Compliments of Graphics Fairy, of course. A little glaze, a quick coat of Rust-Oleum clear spray and they are finished.
Three separate images that I thought went well together:
You saw this one already:
The postcard graphics I also used on my end table:
The fifth one? I decided to keep for myself- I’ll show you that one when I finish a special graphic for it. Three of these have already sold at my booth. Which one is your favorite? What would you use them for?
