I know I jumped the gun slightly on decorating our front porch for fall. Well, now I’m finishing up a little fall mantel decor in our living room. Still too soon?
I traded the lavender candles for green.
Took out the fake lilacs in the pot and added- well, more fake flowers. You may recognize some of the flowers from the front door wreath. (I bought three of those bushes and ended up only using one for that project.) I added a few other stems to lighten up the arrangement.
For the hearth, I moved this spiral topiary from the stair landing.
Oh, and just to illustrate the power of the cropping tool in PicMonkey, here’s what the living room looks like without cropping. There may or may not be stuff piled under the coffee table as well. Sadly, this isn’t a rare occurrence.
If I had a neuralizer (anyone know that reference?), I’d have to use it now. Quick, look at the next cropped photo!
So, that was a pretty quick switch-a-roo just using what I already had on hand. Fall mantel decor, simple and cheap, just like me.
