While I’m calling this a spring mantel, it is actually pretty much a year-round look for me. I don’t really change my décor much except for Christmas.
An initial covered with hydrangea blossoms sits on a thrift store find.
A close-up of the box. It is actually ceramic- don’t ask me how much time I spent trying to open it….
A sweet little bird perches on a messy excelsior nest.
A blue bird from Michael’s sits nearby.
Lavender candles and a creamy urn filled with lavender silk flowers. Sensing a theme here?
The initial looks blue in the pictures, but the flowers actually range from a dark purple to a lighter lavender. The print over the fireplace is called “The Little Harbor” by L. Gordon, one of my favorite artists. I know purple isn’t for everyone, but it definitely makes for a perfect spring mantel, don’t you think?
